Stand Plan Check

Ensure your exhibition stand complies with venue build rules. Submit your drawings to us for expert review and approval-ready feedback.

When you’re exhibiting at a show, conference or trade event, your stand isn’t just a display — it’s also a temporary structure that must comply with venue rules, health-and-safety standards and the organiser’s own eGuide or build guidelines.

Failure to submit compliant drawings or to allow for structural/rigging checks can lead to delays, refused build-permission or even being forced to dismantle on site. Many organisers require detailed layout plans, scale drawings, method statements and structural calculations.

Our Stand Plan service

When you submit your stand plan to us via plans@standplanchecks.co.uk, our checklist-based service covers:

Review of your layout

We check your stand layout, dimensions and gangways to ensure your plan view clearly defines the stand’s footprint and orientation within the venue.

Review of your elevations

We assess all wall heights, platforms, display elements and any rigged or suspended items to verify safe construction and compliance with event regulations.

Check of venue compliance

We confirm your plans meet height, walling, aisle and rigging limits as set out in the venue or organiser build manual, preventing costly on-site issues.

Assessment of structural needs

If your stand exceeds standard height, includes upper decks or rigging, we flag where engineer-signed structural calculations will be needed before approval.

Feedback on key issues

You’ll receive straightforward advice highlighting potential risks — such as wall placement, aisle access or fire exit visibility — and recommended corrections.

Fast and reliable review

Our quick review process helps you submit amended drawings promptly, avoid build delays and keep your exhibition schedule on track.

Use our feedback to refine your plan, submit to the organiser, and proceed safely to build day.

Ready to get started?
Email your stand drawing package to us with your event name and stand number.

Plans should be detailed and include elevations and all dimensions. A visual of the finished stand should also be provided. We’ll get back to you with confirmation of our fee.

*Complex stands, those over 4 meters in height, double deck or with a rigged element, may need to provide structural calculations from a qualified structural engineer.
